Description

  • Lead the efforts to maximize brand value for the Cello or related brands by managing the development of category and brand programs to drive profitability, sales and growth of the brand.
  • Identifies key business drivers and market opportunities based on analysis of competitor and category trends, tracks & reports business / brand results, and leads all budget related activities for financial planning of their brands
  • Oversees long term project management functions and recommends strategic plans to Sr. Management. Drives innovation and commercialization of new product initiatives in support of strategy.
  • Develops and validates financial and market forecasts with input from market research, Sales, Operations and Finance
  • Leads and ensures the timely execution of annual Brand Plans by leading agencies (PR, Digital, social media and Consumer Promotions) and internal team to develop highly creative and cost-efficient campaigns which drive sales and profitability.
  • Leads strategy and execution of owned content channels while staying within budget (Email, Blog & Website content)
  • Oversees the development and execution of shopper marketing plans for key customers and partners with Sales & e-commerce teams to drive category growth by attending and advising on customer meetings.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and lead optimization of activities to drive sales and profitability.
  • Create and maintain collateral for sales teams and act as resource to the sales team.
  • Act as the Brand Champion for our products, ensuring brand usage guidelines are adhered to across all channels and the brand accrues the highest possible value.
  • Acts as Company representative for assigned Sales and Retailer brand meetings.
  • Provides backup assistance to other members of the marketing team, as directed by marketing senior leadership.

Qualifications


  • Minimum five years' experience in consumer-packaged goods marketing with related P & L responsibility – directly or indirectly.
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience analyzing marketing and consumption data & translating to insights & recommendations that tell a clear & compelling story.
  • Ability to manage budgets and report on P/L activity associated with assigned marketing initiatives -- proven ability to connect sales & marketing plans with impact to P/L
  • Demonstrated experience within successful new product launches.
  • Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design
  • Demonstrated project management, multi-tasking and leadership skills.
  • Previous demonstration of managing marketing mix including shopper marketing, digital/social, television media, e-commerce
  • Demonstrated experience leading successful brand launches and redesigns.
  • Experience managing external agencies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
  • Self-motivated dot-connector with strong analytical / problem solving / creative skills.
  • Adaptability to changing demands, priorities, circumstances, and directions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Experience working with syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen, SPINS, etc)
  • Experience in Cheese or Specialty Foods is a plus.
